Rosary2Lenten Rosaries will be available in the hallway between the church narthex and the A & E Building beginning two weeks prior to Lent.  These rosaries were made and are provided free-of-charge by the Sacred Heart Rosary Makers to anyone who wants one.

The tradition of the Lenten Rosary began in Venezuela and was brought to the United States by a Minnesota priest.  The rosary consists of a cross on a cord with seven sets of three beads (The Our Father, the Hail Mary and the Glory Be).  You are encouraged to say the rosary every day for the 40-day Lenten period, beginning Ash Wednesday, for someone special in your life; and, after Lent, you are encouraged to give the rosary to that special person that you were praying for.
