Deacon Bill was born in Shreveport, LA and raised in Dallas, TX.   He graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas and earned his undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Texas at Arlington.  He received his graduate degree in Religious Studies from the University of Dallas.

Deacon Bill is married to Carol. They have two sons, William and Robert and five grandchildren, Kyra, Chace, Austin, Jack and Bella.

He worked in the retail clothing business industry until he was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in May, 1978.   Deacon Bill is currently assigned to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village, AR where he is Director of Pastoral Services at St. Joseph Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs.   His previous Diaconate assignments were Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, TX, University of Dallas Chapel in Dallas, TX and All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas.

 Deacon Bill's work experience also includes Director of Pastoral Services at St. Joseph in Fort Worth, TX, Director of Pastoral services at Columbia Medical Center, Fort Worth and Director of Pastoral Life at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, TX.
